Social Services includes those program areas aimed at prevention, protection and remediation of abuse, neglect and dependency, including both children protective services and adult protective service.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - TITLE XX

Title XX is a flexible federal funding source that Union County Human Services receives through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) based on an annual allocation.  This allocated money is used in the operation of social services programs.

ODJFS requires each county Job and Family Services agency to complete a plan on a biennial basis - currently for federal fiscal years 2026 and 2027.  ODJFS also requires that a public hearing be held to allow public comment.  

The Title XX public hearing will be held May 27, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the London Ave Services Building, 940 London Avenue, Marysville in Conference Room A.

TO REPORT ABUSE/NEGLECT:  If you believe a child has been abused or neglected, please contact Union County Children Services.  Reports may be made by calling our abuse and neglect hotline at 937.644.1010 or in person at 940 London Avenue, Suite 1800, Marysville, Ohio 43040, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  To make an emergency report after regular business hours, on weekends or holidays, please contact the Union County Sheriff's Office at 937.645.4100 and ask for the on-call social worker.
