"We encourage and support employees and families to become champions in
their physical and mental wellness, and achieve work/life balance."
 - Union County Wellness CommitteeÂ
Union County is proud to offer a wellness program to support the overall health and well-being of employees. We believe that a healthier workforce is more productive, engaged, and satisfied. Wellness programs help reduce stress, prevent chronic illnesses, lower healthcare costs, and improve morale and retention. By investing in wellness initiatives, Union County is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture that encourages balance, resilience, and long-term success for both employees and the organization. Employees (and covered spouses) who complete wellness activities can earn Anthem rewards and may also qualify for discounted health insurance premiums.Â
NOTE: Premium reductions are not guaranteed. They are considered discretionary and are authorized on an annual basis by the Union County Commissioners. Savings will vary depending on which plan tier has been elected. Eligibility for the wellness incentive will be verified by Human Resources. Participation in the Union County Wellness Program is voluntary for all employees and covered spouses in the CEBCO/Anthem health insurance plan.
