Life Insurance

Union County provides Basic Life and AD&D coverage to eligible full-time employees at no cost to the employee. Dependent coverage is also available (at no cost) to the employee's legal spouse and eligible children (children must be at least 15 days old, but under age 19; or under age 24 and enrolled as a full-time student in a state-accredited college, university, trade, or secondary school).

Full-time employees may update their beneficiary information within 30 days of a qualifying life event, such as a marriage, divorce, death, or birth of a dependent. Beneficiary information can be updated at any time. Complete this form to update your benefit records: Anthem Life Insurance Form

Updated forms should be sent to your Department Head or Official and the Union County Auditor's Office.
