Coming Soon!         Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) removal and replacement

The Union County Airport - KMRT, Marysville, Ohio - ODOT Aviation has already awarded the Airport Authority a grant to replace the aging and obsolete Automated Weather Observation System, better known as AWOS, with a brand-new AWOS system.   This project increases safety for pilots on the ground and in the air by providing instantaneous weather from the onsite weather station which is a part of the AWOS.  AWOS data will also be available via the internet and will be used by numerous aviation flight planning apps to allow pilots to fly and be aware of our local weather conditions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
