The Union County Department of Job and Family Services is available to provide assistance to identify, develop and provide supportive services necessary to empower members of the county, particularly those who face the challenges created by poverty, to achieve self-sufficiency. County residents may apply for public assistance benefits such as Food Assistance, Medicaid, Subsidized Child Care, and Ohio Works First Cash Assistance. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING - TITLE XX
Title XX is a flexible federal funding source that Union County Human Services receives through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) based on an annual allocation. Â This allocated money is used in the operation of social services programs.
ODJFS requires each county Job and Family Services agency to complete a plan on a biennial basis - currently for federal fiscal years 2026 and 2027. Â ODJFS also requires that a public hearing be held to allow public comment. Â
The Title XX public hearing will be held May 27, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the London Ave Services Building, 940 London Avenue, Marysville in Conference Room A.
