We're Hiring!
The Union County Soil and Water Conservation District (USWCD) Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for a District Technician. District Technicians are responsible for performing field and office technical duties in the Union County Soil and Water Conservation District. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pay will range from $20.28/hr - $30.42/hr. QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field of study; one (1) or more years of related experience and/or training; experience may be considered in lieu of education; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Selected candidates must undergo Ohio and federal background checks. The final offer of employment will be contingent on the findings of these checks. This is an unclassified, non-exempt position.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain insurability under the SWCD vehicle insurance policy.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED: The following are examples only and are not intended to be all-inclusive:
Computer, computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap, Outlook, and other applicable computer software), Trimble GPS survey equipment, printer, copy machine, calculator, fax machine, other standard business office equipment, motor vehicle.

2025 UNION SWCD BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE
The following is the 2025 regular meeting schedule for the Union Soil and Water Conservation District’s monthly meetings. Each meeting is held on the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Union County Ag Center’s Buckeye Meeting Room at 18000 State Route 4, Marysville, Ohio 43040.
Occasionally, a conflict may arise with a meeting date, time, or location. We recommend calling the office to confirm when you plan to attend a meeting.
The meeting dates are as follows:
